Monster Trucks and All Weekly Divisions to Run Two Nights for Bonus Money!

Rich Vleck, DUNDEE, NY, (June 4, 2012)- Mother Nature has tired her best to knock out what was supposed to be the first race weekend of June.  Last night, it had appeared that she may have succeeded, but Black Rock Speedway is committed to prevailing and benefitting for fans and racers.

Friday Night’s racing program will look like it did on the 2012 schedule cards: with the Midstate Vintage Stock Cars and the Original Pizza Logs 600 Micro Sprint Tour making a rare appearance while the sportsman, IMCA Modifieds, street stocks and all three 4-cylinder divisions returning after a hiatus.  Now though, the monster trucks of Aftershock, Krazy Train, Equalizer and Hot Tamale will be added to the card for what is sure to be loads of excitement.  A reminder that the late models will have the night off.

Saturday will once again be headlined by the same four monster trucks that thrilled the crowd last weekend, but this time they will be accompanied by the regular divisions.  All seven weekly classes have been added to Saturday’s card for non-point races with payouts that will be the same as the night before.  Not only do race teams get another event at the 4/10-mile oval, competitors that run in the same division on both nights will receive the “Racer Appreciation Bonus”: a $100 bonus on top of their payouts for the weekend!  This bonus will exclude the late model and bandit divisions.

Also on Saturday, for the adult 4-cylinder competitors of each division, they will run their races at the same time with the winner of each class also picking up a guaranteed starting spot inside the top-20 for the $10,000-to-win “Big One Enduro” in November.  The RWD 4-cylinder winner will have to find a legal FWD car to be eligible to race in the November event.

General Admission for each night will be $15 for adults and $5 for students 6-12.  Kids 5 and under will be admitted free.  It should be noted that with the weekend adjustment,
“Senior Night”, where those 62 years or older are admitted free, has now been moved to Saturday, June 16 for the WNY Tractor Pull.  Race time on Friday, as always, will be slated to start at 6:45 P.M., while Saturday’s show will get going at 7:00 P.M.  For more information, visit
