It may not seem like it right now with snowstorms sweeping though the Northeast, but the largest 360-sprint race New York State has ever seen is just one month away from seeing the green flag drop at Black Rock Speedway.

Today marks 30 days until the OíReilly ASCS National Tour makes their maiden voyage into the Northeast. The tradition of the Bully Hill Vineyards 360 Sprint Nationals presented by S.P. Wilson continues on its new date, complete with the return of the full race weekend.

While racing will take place May 18 and 19, there will also be an open practice session on May 17 as well. These three days of action on the racetrack make it the perfect spring weekend to dust off the camper and bring out the firewood. Look for the widespread camping to take place throughout the weekend, presented by the Bath RV Outlet.

In addition to the camping, the weekend will also bring the best 360-sprint car drivers in the country converging on the Dundee, NY oval for the weekend. Ten out of the top 25 drivers from the 2006 North American 360 Poll are scheduled to be in attendance, which is far better than any prior race in this quadrant of the Country.

Among those top drivers are 2006 North American 360 Driver of the Year Jason Johnson from Eunice, LA, 2006 OíReilly American Sprint Cars on Tour Champion Gary Wright from Hooks, TX and 2006 ASCS Patriot Region Champion Chuck Hebing from Ontario, NY.

As mentioned before, the list does not stop there with another 70 top names scheduled to compete for the $40,000 purse up for grabs over the weekend. Locals like Bryan Howland, George Suprick and Lance Yonge will take on ASCoT drivers like Wayne Johnson, Travis Rilat, Darren Stewart, Nick Smith and Garry Lee Maier.

After the Thursday Practice Session, $2,000 will be the top prize for the winner of the Friday Night A-Main. The top-4 from the May 18 event will be locked in to the show the next night. The big money returns on Saturday with the winner receiving $4,000 for the win. The Saturday A-Main will also pay $400-to-start.

Thursday Nightís Practice Session will be a FREE general admission. This program will be presented by National Parts Peddler Newspaper.

Friday night will also feature Sportsman-modifieds, 360 Late Model Super Stocks, Street Stock/ Pro Trucks, 4-Cylinder Mini Stocks and Bandits will complete the card. All of this great Friday Night action is available for just $14!

Saturday will be for all of the fans of the winged things. Along with the Bully Hill Vineyards NY Sprint Nationals presented by S.P. Wilson, there will also be the Central New York Mini Sprints, New York Modified Midgets and Interstate Micro Sprints. General Admission for this event will be just $22, with a family pack (2 adult and 2 child general admission) only $49.

Souvenir T-Shirts of the Bully Hill Vineyards NY Sprint Nationals presented by S.P. Wilson, complete with the all-new event logo and six previous winners, are already available each Friday Night at Black Rock for just $15. T-shirts of any size may be purchased at the announcerís booth on Fridays leading up to the grand event, with the shirts them moving to the ASCS Patriots Merchandise Trailer the weekend of the NY Nationals.
